Welcome to GEViCAM Inc.
GigE Cameras GEViCAM focuses on Gigabit Ethernet technology as our camera platform, adding over 20+ years of industrial camera design and manufacturing experience, and engineering cameras to its highest performance.
We chose Gigabit Ethernet as the base platform because;
-
Ethernet is the most widely used network technology.
-
Industrial standard for compatibility and high performance for machine vision (AIA GigE Vision standard) and network.
-
High bandwidth for high-speed and high-resolution cameras but it is backward compatible to 10/100 MHz Ethernet.
-
Camera can operate as a local server to control various peripherals.
-
Field upgradeable and diagnosable.
Smart Cameras In addition to its standard GigE camera family, GEViCAM specializes on hardware neural network implementation to make GigE Vision cameras smart and stand alone intelligent sensors, which can communicate via a high speed network. GEViCAM smart cameras are completely different from traditional CPU controlled or embedded DSP smart cameras. It learns just like a human brain and does not use CPU or micro controllers inside the camera at all.
The GigE platform is critical for smart cameras even though they work as stand-alone solutions most of time. However, once a smart camera detects reporting events such as defect, inspection error, surveillance incidents, etc., then it must keep sending multiple images without missing a frame. In this case, video data band-width must be high and GigE is the best platform for such smart cameras.
Gevicam smart cameras are developed in the same package as normal GigE cameras but still contain neural network brain inside the small envelope.
